This page explains what we keep when you use the site or write to us, why we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
When you send a message or ask about a commission, we keep what you have typed: your name, your email address and the details of your request.
The site also records ordinary technical information, such as the type of browser used and the pages opened, so we can tell what is slow or broken.
Your catch reports and messages are kept while we're in touch and for a reasonable time after. Records of your fishing trips, orders or guides are stored longer in case we need to review them with you.
We don't sell your fishing data or angler information. It's shared only with the services we use to run the site, and only what they need to do their part.
Only the team members who need access can see your information, and everything sent through this site travels over an encrypted connection.
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it removed. Write to us and we will confirm once it is done.
This site uses a small number of cookies. Which ones, and how to turn them off, is explained separately.
If we update anything here, we refresh this page and note the date at the top.
If anything is unclear, use the contact page to reach us. We'll answer directly and honestly.
